So I did some sketches this week. I'm leaning towards the bottom one. Now, I've just got to find welding equipment/a welder.

There is a steel front bumper, but it looks horrible and is too much $$. I found a guy in Sweden (I think) who had a removable one that mounted to some steel bars on the front frame. I like this idea because I don't want to drive around town (which is what my RR does most) with all the gear on...

Yeah. That's why I'm looking for a winch option for my RR. Sadly my model of RR does not have really any aftermarket support.

Totally agree. Snow is just a pain in the butt. We also didn't have any winches, which would have been helpful if we got more stuck. I also found out that Maxtraxs (or X-Bull) recovery boards are a must. The only reason I got out was because one of the other guys had Smitybilt tracks.

Looking good! I like the black. I think I'll do mine with carpet or leave the top just wood so I can kinda blend it into the tan back.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. I'm super bummed, but hopefully next year will work.
