  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Biggest Equipment Failure, or Breakage While on a Trip // Did you fix it, and how?

This is one of my fears of being out in nowhere and having an issue like some of these in the thread (except for breaking a nail :tearsofjoy:). So far the biggest failure was having a flat in Death Valley. Learned the hard way that a high-lift jack can move the rig sideways when lifting on...

It sure is sad looking at all the burn areas. Hoping for no heavy rains and mudslides.

    2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Modifications

None. Very easy to install. I did have to take the panel off again to install the quick fists and fire extinguisher fasteners properly. Also I ordered D rings to replace the top Toyota hooks that must come off. They should be in this week.

    2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Modifications

Thanks. I had the same issue...couldn't find a good solution for the fire extinguisher.. then saw a Rago add and investigated. It's proved to be a useful add on. The quick fits are a perfect add for holding. I keep adding to them.
