Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I've not done a whole lot of exploring of Florida... Usually I drive out of the state. But so far Ocala National Forest is my favorite.

Welcome to the group. Glad to have you here! If you want to find out what's happening in your local area, you can always go to the Overland Rally Point and See what events are happening around you!
It's not quite the Carolinas, but in Independence, VA (about an 1.5 hours from TN) there's the Jefferson National Forest. I haven't done a full exploration of it, but there are some nice spots there. You can camp next to Hale Lake (can't drive to the camp spots there though. Gotta walk in.)
So I didn't find anything specifically that would help. I didn't spend a bunch of time on it because I had such bad internet in Belize that I just didn't bother even using it for anything but email. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Hmmm... I’m not a pro at wiring, but it seems to me that it’s t should be able to be done... just not sure on a 12v system... lemme do some looking and see what I can find. If I don’t get back to you, I didn’t find anything before I left the country.
