Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
It was an easy install with 2 people. I had to enlarge the 4 bolt holes on the side mounts a little. I'm going to open them up a little more to drop the bumper down a little. It's sitting a little high on the side, and is going to start rubbing. I have to wire up some different light this...
Unfortunately I don't think they have a 4th Gen available yet. If I hadn't receive such a great deal on the this I would have gone with Addicted Offroad's Plate bumper. They make them for a 4th Gen, and weight is very comparable.
This past weekend I was able to continue on the front end. It's been a long time coming, but I finally got a much needed face lift. I'm also getting ready to start my Satoshi mod.
I took the entire front end off to access the rust. It wasn't as bad as I thought, and I was able to remove all...
Thursday on my way home the steering wheel started shaking violently, and then I heard a loud pop. I was able to limp home, but don't think I should have. When I got home I found a busted passenger CV, and half the ball bearings were missing. I was able to pull the CV, and this is what I found...
I felt like the owner lied to me honestly. I bought what he called a 3rd Gen rack, and it wasn't. I was supposed to come out with one before Christmas, and still doesn't have one out. Instead of telling me the truth about the rack he just sent me a Tacoma rack that was intended to mount on the...
I'll have to show this to the wife. She's been eyeing a roof rack like that for quite some time now, but I keep telling her no. The bumper is pretty nice, and I'm glad that we went that route. I've since welded a small hoop on the front to give it a little more protection.
Thank you. I think it also depends on what you're looking for. There are quite a few offroad parks around the area, but that's not really our thing. We have a lot of forest roads for exploring though, and within an hour from St. Louis. We don't really spend a lot of time in the area unless we're...
I'm started this project last week by taking some measures, and figuring out the best height. These drawer system is 9" in total height, and 33" deep. It's going to have one full length drawer, a half length drawer, and one storage compartment. The frame is made from 1x1x.065 DOM box tubing. I...
Just before Christmas we hit a deer on the way home from the inlaws. That meant time to order a new bumper from the UK. We had this in less the 7 days, and couldn't be happier with it.
This is a First Four Offroad bumper from the UK.
