    It gets hot where I live, but nothing like where I came from, Louisiana. It's almost impossible to survive down there without one, especially May through September.

    I once had a 1980 International Scout II ... I loved that truck. Never ran well in the summer (couldn't handle the heat, for some strange reason), but it was rock solid in the snows of winter! I desperately miss my Scout! P.S. Don't tell my X(terra)!

    SCUBA diving and overlanding go hand-in-hand ... At the dive park at Beaver Lake, there are plenty of campsites and, because Beaver Lake has some of the clearest water in a 250-mile radius, people travel from as far away as Wichita, Kan. to do the dive portion of their open water certs.

    I love 4Runners! I have a 2015 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X, but my wife drives a 2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro ... As much as I love my Xterra, I will admit I do get a little jealous when I drive my wife's car. The 4Runner beats the Xterra in the snow, hands down!
