    We need to change up the trip a little bit due to snow at Leavitt Lake. According to a ranger at the Bridgeport Station Leavitt is still under 80” of snow. NOAA shows snow that’s hanging on pretty good in the carved out bowl that is Leavitt Lake. My plan is to do a quick prerun trip this Friday...

    Potentially but then you have a tight balance between how much material you can bevel out versus how big the 1/4 20 flat head screw is so the t nut will slide past

    I wanted to use 1/4 20 hardware to the rivnuts but the limitation I struggled with was that the screw holes in the t channel were too small. I used smaller rivnuts and they worked ok but I think bolts were stronger in the long run

    The first time I tried to go to Aurora in 2019 the road was completely washed out, now it’s been remade and yes it’s pretty easy. The turn up towards the mountain has some twisty parts with trees but not bad at all. A Turtleback would be fine but larger trailers might get pinstriped pretty hard.

    Yes the road along the canyon is easy and then after the right hand turn there are some narrow sections but then it’s easy to the cemetery
