I have a '90 with a 4.2 5spd. stock axles front and rear but thinking of upgrading to 8.8 Ford rear sometime..I just replaced the tub and did much needed frame repair..Replaced the fenders,windshield frame, etc..     That's exactly what I had planned on doing last summer.. It'd definitely let them be more comfortable on hours long rides.. I already have the storage bin under the seat. I just need to remove the seat bottom and back.. Did you insulate the cab backwall with anything?

    I have 2016 Tundra with a DECKED drawer system in the 5.5' bed.. When we go out for overlanding/camping weekends we sleep in the bed on a pair of these self inflating mats...
