Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I tried asking this in the “Trail Q & A” forum but didn’t get much response or any clarity - so I’m trying here too.
My question is: I’ve heard about the Mendocino Backcountry Discovery Trail as being a really great and beautiful trail and have found articles and videos about it online - but I...
Took off my factory steps and installed my first real aftermarket part today - a pair of Barricade Rubi Rails (rock slider/step)! Stoked on how they look and on the added protection for when I go off-roading!

Thanks for sharing. I’ve actually already seen/read that article (and watched the video in the article), but I was wondering if we have that trail listed here on the Overland Bound app, or why it’s not listed on the map section of the app?
It would be great to have it on here where we can see...
I’m not sure this is the right place to post this, but I’ve heard about the Mendocino Backcountry Discovery Trail as being a really great and beautiful trail but I don’t see it listed on the Overland Bound map section of the app. Am I missing something or has no one ever added and reviewed it on...
I bought a pair of Barricade Rubi Rails (rock slider/step) for my Wrangler Rubicon - and they just arrived today! Can’t wait to take off the stock Rubicon steps and install the new rails this week!
Hi there, up until a couple weeks ago I had noticed that there were two different membership types with two different prices for those two memberships, and I was considering paying for the cheaper of the two memberships - but now I’m only seeing one membership option and it’s the one that was...
Just ordered my first real aftermarket part for my JK today - Barricade Rubi Rails (rock slider/step)! Looking forward to ditching the stock plastic Rubicon steps this next week and having some extra protection when hitting Knoxville OHV Park and Prairie City SVRA in October!
Great! Thanks so much for sharing that with me, and good to know!
It’s the Gobi stealth and I have no real complaints at all. It is heavy and definitely changes the handling a bit, but you can run either a hard top or soft top, which was a deciding factor for me. I’ve had it for just over 5...
Nice! Which roof rack do you have, and how do you like it?
[qQUOTE="Mrgassy, post: 632513, member: 22072"]Lots of miles and smiles with my 2013 2door… it makes me keep it a little bit organized and I love the nimbleness on the trail (and around town)
Thanks! Yeah it was beautiful there. I agree, French press is a great alternative for camping - and that’s awesome you have a bigger insulated one that isn’t broken as easy (and bummer about all your previous ones!). I might have to get something like what you have for future camping trips as we...
A stock 2010 JKR (except for aftermarket front and rear bumpers). I’ve only owned it 4 months. It’s my daily driver but so far I’ve hit up an off-road park, easy dirt OHV trail, and took the back seat and packed the inside to the brim with camping supplies for a camping trip I did with my family...
Went camping with my family this week in Gualala, CA. Beautiful Redwood-filled campground, perfect weather, river running alongside campground, ocean a mile away, time with friends who also camped in sites nearby, no cell service. Can’t wait to do it again!
