  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

So far no issues, but I’m also looking into changing my shocks over to Fox off-road for more adjusting options when loaded with extra weight.

Today I worked on changing the front grill ... these inserts will help keep trail rocks from damaging the radiator.

Cooler vs Fridge: Which is right for you?

Really happy to see this discussion, I've been torn between cooler or fridge. I've see coolers (45 cubic non yeti) work just fine and able to hold ice for about 15 days. I'm not sure if I want to spend the money for an ARB fridge when I'm only out for 2 weeks at a time. If I was living out of my...

Cast Iron or No? (weight right now is not an issue for me)

Cast Iron, not only does your food have great flavor but it's also healthy for you by adding iron to diet. Cook, wipes clean easy, and very durable.

Next upgrade was to change the factory fenders. I have always disliked the way the factory black fenders fade over time. I installed steel fenders with a 3" BDS lift. Changed tires to Toyo 35's

Under the hood I added an ARB dual air compressor for airing up my tires after a trail run. I looked at several different sources but for tire inflation this was recommended. I also added an SPod for my future accessory lights. This will help with keeping the wires nice and clean.

I picked a bumper that would allow me to still use my factory fog lights. I added a 9K winch at the same time.

I bought a 2017 JKU Rubicon for my build, I wasn't sure about ripping into $40K rig so I had to really research my build. So here is what's been done so far... 35 inch Toyo Tires with a 3" BDS suspension upgrade to include shocks and coil springs (no wheel spacers needed) Fabricated steel...

    New overland build 2017 JKU

Yes I do and I keep my Hi lift Jack and one pelican box for extra gear, also my roof top tent goes up there when I'm not in the garage. I'm building a trailer to keep the tent on due to the height of the Jeep.

Looks great, I put Toyo 34 with a 3" lift and expedition roof rack fits in garage but not with my RRT on. Keep posting helps others like myself with new ideas.
