Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
You can only come if we get to see how it looks inside!! Haha
Like Garrett said I doubt you’ll have any issues, we’ve seen people drag toy haulers down to the bottom. Idk how fully but it’s a beautiful drive
We are about 2.5 weeks out from this trip and it’s gonna be a good one! A friend of Cody and I who is not yet a member is planning on joining us. He has some physical limitations but that’s not stopping him from wanting to get out and join us in his Tahoe. You guys are gonna like him and his...
It is not diesel but they are expensive. The trade off is basically zero maintenance issues and very reliable. Diesel heaters take some work to get them consistent. The propex HS2211 is an external mount which is great but I ended up making my ammo can box to hide it and store the hoses...
The Propex heater is basically a small home furnace. We set it to 65° like at home to sleep and it cycles on and off through the night. Low battery and propane consumption and my wife is very happy!
It is a cold air return. I was gonna get fancy and make ductwork underneath and route the air in through the floor, but this option was less invasive and works great.

The awning is Overland Pros, I got it using the Overland Bound discount and I like it. I really like my iKamper, it’s the second one I’ve had. So much room inside! I’ve never had condensation in it before and now I added a Propex heater that totally dries it out for winter camping.
I added LED’s to my 270 awning and a dimmable switch. I like project boxes and used one as an electrical junction box to tidy up the wires. There’s enough slack to allow the awning to telescope in and out.
Unrelated I added carpet tiles to my iKamper. Helps with the cold and the knees!
Great report and message about planning and rolling with it.
And this…too true…yuck
3... oh that when you get turned around and have to back track... you may find some folks using the isolation for... recreational activities, that you'd rather not see...
I see the design pages aren’t there anymore. This is all I worked off of. For extrusions Tnutz is a good choice, items you can’t find there try 8020.com, and have them cut and tap. It will save years off your life
What I have are those “blueprints” on the first couple of posts. My suggestion is figure out the minimum required for whatever sink/burner units you want to use and build around that. Whether the sink and burner are separate or integrated together like the Dometic 9722 I used. The depth of a...
