Not a seat cover but I found that a set of these seat jackers to elevate the front of my seat made things much more comfortable for me on longer drives. The stock JL seats really have no support for your upper legs and it always felt to me like sitting on a chair tilted forward...
Yes. October 20 at 6PM will be our next get together at the Clearman’s Galley on Rosemead Blvd. We will either be out standing around in the parking lot or grabbing something to eat at the Galley and sitting in the patio area. Looking forward to meeting you on the 20th.
Ok I had some time to work on this today…
I finished up the “plumbing” for the faucet using some plastic tubing fittings including a barb connector out the side of the faucet so I could place a magnetic base on the bottom which would cover the existing barb input. Since my filter(s) were all...

I still have to do all that stuff including securing the magnets. The 3” round magnets I have are a little smaller than the faucet diameter so they won’t snug in. I was thinking of using some of that sticky foam sealant in a can to adhere them hopefully securely to the unit. How were you...
I am planning on adding another shelf below my current rear cargo shelf that would be right above my fridge and the water can which would take away the vertical space above the can for the spigot to ride on top. I would then have a longer run of tubing running from the can to the magnet spigot...
I have the same setup but my Amazon pump broke after it got bashed around in my rear cargo area. I replaced it with another model which to my surprise did not fit snugly on top of my water can but also looks exactly like the Dometic powered spout. I am in the process of putting a magnetic base...
We tent camp so if we are on a multi-week trip I usually build in some motel stays every 4 days or so and ensure that there are laundry facilities at that location. If our trip is a week or less we just take enough clothes and wash them when we get back home.
I think at the end of the day the only effective approach would be substantial peer pressure and it will be quite an effort to get to that point.
Right now many public land areas differentiate between legal access for road registered vehicles vs. ATV’s and UTV’s. Mojave Preserve comes to mind...
You should sit in the seat and judge for yourself. I am 6’ 5” tall and face the same issues you face but a little bit more. I drive a Jeep Wrangler which when reading reviews about comfort suggested that I would not fit (or that I would). In the end I had to sit in the seat to judge for...
Great photos and looks like it was a great trip. I am planning on doing this also some day. Did you experience any issues or have any recommendations on tent camping along the route?
I think it works because in the absence of a GPS chip the wi-fi iPad will use the location information from the wi-fi spot it connects with. In this case the iPhone which has updated GPS info.
