Black powder shooter here. I hint with a .50 caliber Hawken my dad gave me. I also shoot a .44 caliber black powder revolver and a .45 caliber muzzleloader pistol (Jukar).

Look into CTek products. They provide DC to DC charging, solar, controller, and make putting a setup together much easier.

Alot of gear I've had to buy a hook and loop "field". Basically a square or triangular patch of the soft side of velcro in whatever size you need. Then you have to see them on. Fabric stores like Joanne's sell them or on Ebay.

Not saying I dont partake in some of these things, but it always makes me giggle that many "bushcrafty" or "overlandy" hobbies are similar to one's that 10 yr old girls have. Paracord bracelets, patch collecting.... funny.

I have a Dometic. It runs great. One problem I had is for some reason my trucks cigarette lighter plug does not have enough current to keep the fridge running when the engine is off. This weekend I'm installing a new plug in the rear

Just wanted to review the cheapo Ebay awnings. I bought one. The frames are decently made and i like the telescopic legs, but...... the awning material is VERY thin. I punctured it first day with one of the screws on the frame. You get what you pay for.

Yes, you need to have a ohv registration sticker for any public lands or trails. It's available at most State wildlife offices. To get one you need a bill of sale, fill out a form and pay $25 (not sure if fee is one time only). You'll be given a temporary registration and the permanent sticker...
