Winter was hard on the bronco. Poor thing has rust in all the wrong places. The B pillars are rusting out along with most of the rear quarter. So we figured it might be time to pick up one with less rust and start again. At least I have all good mechanical to put in one with a better body...
A good limited slip with run at least a third of the price of most selectable lockers. Save the money and install time for when you can get the one that you want. If you drive on snow and ice in the winter selectable is very handy.
I'd love to go. Just now sure if I'll have a vehicle ready by then. I'm beginning the process of combining 2 bronco's into one. I probably won't have it done and meeting the wife's approval by then.

Usually we use home made fire starters. The good old wood chips from the chainsaw in a paper egg carton and pour melted wax over it. works pretty good. I've even started fires on ice and snow with them.
Used steel wool and jumper cables once too. I always try to have more the one option...
We go around home and have gone out to the Black Hills, SD to do some snow showing and snowmobiling. But the last year or 2 we haven't received as much snow so we haven't had the chance to go locally.
Sounds like the start of a great adventure. My daughter and I have on occasion just picked a direction and I've let her pick which way at intersections or stops. Usually only for a day or 2 though. Enjoy every minute of the trip.
