Yeah, prob is, I got a hell of a deal on a dometic CFX95dz which is 18.5 inch tall, plus the slider. Small fridge won’t really work for us anyway. I think I’m just gonna have a custom camper shell made and call it good.

Ok so I’ve ran into a little problem with my build... My plan was to put a diamondback locking cover over my bed and mount the bed rack to it. Problem is, my 04 Tacoma bed is only 16 inches tall which means I can’t fit most fridge/freezers with the cover on, especially mounted to a slider rack...

Ran into a snag with the bedrack. Since it was the “universal” rack, it isn’t really set up for the thin walls of the first gen and hangs over the side by 3/4 of an inch. I have a guy machining spacers this week so should have it installed by Friday.

Spent my down time this week cleaning the taco up and cleaning out the tool box for its removal. Gotta make room for the bed rack which just showed up. More to follow...

I looked at the smitty as well but it was a little heavier than I’d like. I found the tuff stuff ranger on amazon that has great reviews, comes with the annex and is around 130lbs total weight. Also looking at the ARB Simpson 3, also comes w annex, but heavier built so weighs around 170 lbs...
