Jason, you’re rigth, it was a great trip!!! 80% of this was paved highways. But consider, usually, the most beautiful places are on dirt tracks (my favorites! ;-) ) I don't know what exactly you like to see when you are on road, but I recommend some places on that region: Uyuni Salt desert...

We went by ourselves. Actually, some overland friends scheduled a meeting in Uyuni (Bolivia) on Jan 4, and there started a trip over the "Ruta de las Lagunas" until San Pedro de Atacama (Chile). It was a 4 days crossing deserts, salt deserts, between lakes, volcanoes and specials views of Andes...

Yeap!!!! It's an incredible place. You feel off planet Earth…
