Could any of you photographers recommend a decent water resistant/Proof DSLR I have only come across the Pentax k70 in my searches, and the more I read on b&h the more I get confused

Just slap an atlas xfer case on the camero and combine your hobbies lol. kidding of course I'm sure it would take much more than just an xfer case !
Welcome from Washington,
@Steve Doesn't get much OVERland than in the air!
@Graeman Nah, when he was still with us he'd fly to remote airports all over the place and camp under the wing most small town airports are cool with it.
While he was alive he tried to teach me a lot. One quote I remember most from him was...
My stepfather, Bill, epitomized the spirit of overlander as it pertains to OB and its founding principles. It was never about who you were or where you came from to him, nor was it about what you "drove". His rig for "over"-landing was a 1947 Stinson.
Couldn't agree more!
(I believe) Brand loyalty pushed via the corporate machine/monster have a lot to do with this. It is quite refreshing to be in a group so ready and willing to break the mold.

Welcome from Washington.
Sounds like a good time, certainly no shortage of options for the JK for wheeling or overlanding.

Yea, could alternate between Olympia and Seattle. I dunno something along the lines of odd months one evens the other.
but yea I just was hoping to get a regular meetup planned. Food for thought [emoji16]
Or even a vote after there's enough interested on 2 cities to roll between
Edited to...
If you do hit up the Pen this summer check out Hurricane Ridge, i can be pretty touristy but theres a reason, it is gorgeous! also Queets river has a couple of great spots and its all "old growth" rainforests moss is so thick on the trees i can't begin to describe its beauty
