Is a front and/or rear bumper worth it's weight?

Hey, relax man. Lol. So Newton law states that every action has an equal yet opposite reaction. You can pro/con the bumper argument to death. Form, fashion, weight, use.... all can be argued for and against. Now as for my PERSONAL opinion. The minor mpg hit that you take is offset by what you...

Anyone reduce the lift on your vehicle?

Another thought, what ply tires do you have? If you have 10ply truck tires vs a 6ply LT tire then you would get a much stiffer ride. 4runners don't weigh enough to get 10ply tires to absorb road shock the same way a tire in 6ply would.

Is a front and/or rear bumper worth it's weight?

If you are truly a fam of our front bumpers then get a hidden front winch. mount http://budbuilt.com/2003-2009-4th-Gen-4Runner-Hidden-Winch-Mount_p_546.html Honestly thought you still won't gain a good recovery point although a good welder/fabricator could do you one up pretty cheaply. As for...

Day trips are preferred but I may squeak in a 2 day. Roads and trails will be done on 33in tires but I'm quite comfortable using them and we both make a good spotter/driver combo. Snow isn't an issue, she is from Denver and I am from Kansas. Ice and snow are nothing new.

    Attention Toyota 4Runner Runners

Biggest con for the 4th gen is aftermarket support. Want a snorkel? Yeah, buy an LC80 and make it work. Want a good selection for rear bumpers? There's maybe 3 options to consider for a good swing out. Have a thing for lockers like me? Womp, womp, womp.... Arb is what you get. (Not counting...
