I will most likely do the same although will be pulling our offroad trailer due to the limitations of space within the Jeep. Would you change anything with the rig if you had to do it all over again?
I've had my Quick Fists hold my shovel for the past year and a half and have had no issues thus far. I like how they hold and how quick it is to get to the shovel when needed. I did see my shovel sliding a little once but that is because I failed to tighten it well enough.
Has anyone done this trip? If so, would you do it again? What would you do different? I'd like to do it someday before we pull the plug and untie the lines.
Glad you could post it. I couldn't. I'll have to figure out what happened. I have video of Mike showing his mad off-road skills in that awesome red Toyota.

I'd say today was a success. It was great meeting you all today and we (Dawn & Max) look forward to future adventures with you all. If someone could guide me as to where to post pictures and video from today I would appreciate it.
Are we still a go for 10am at 7-11 on Pyramid HWY? I have four NV (non OB) rigs coming. There is a Chevron station across the street from 7-11. The parking lot is much larger and also has full service. With as many rigs we are looking at, it may be better to meet there. Just a suggestion.
