Poll: When you camp, do you normally have cell service?

I get everyone feels being off-grid is cool. Yet reality is, most everywhere is getting covered. It's not a bad thing really! I had spot where we hoped to reach out and report to Emergency Services. Even my radios didn't contact. Most times I find we can connect. There are times I shut all...

    Cheap Amazon Diesel heater recommendations?

We used to run Kerosene in a heater years back in the house, yet I seem to remember the orfice had to be changed.. Can anyone confirm this change of fuel?

Our forest sites went to Reserve America and so far it is fantastic...minus the fee for what used to be free.

That seems weird.. If you roll up and a site is available, then it goes un-rented. I found a couple NF's that went internet reserve but both you could rent whenever you arrived. Their problem was no cell service at the CG.. worst was they blocked the bay-at-post. Any clue why they stop it at...

David, these are the sites you had to reserve anyway at, right? We have a couple we use as we travel south or west out of NH.

    NEBDR

I've done sections in NH (section 6) and only started into Maine (section 7). I'll recommend either Osceola Vista or Barnes Field as group camping. Both are White Mountain NF campgrounds. If I'm around when you come through NH, I may join you folks and explore into section 7 with ya's!

    No boundaries adventure trailer

You've done much of the cosmetic work, nw it's time together under and beef the frame points. Several FR forums out there on Mods done to the frame/axle. Cracked frames at suspension mounts, outside walls sagging to mention a couple of the biggies. Mods are out there and I suggest researching...

I've heard of Moose River Plains and researched a bit. Seems like a lot of woods despised camping and hike in ponds. I need to dig deeper into it. I'm researching for a good camp spot near a stream/brook to do some fishing. I saw several great spots to fish while up there, yet tough finding a...

Both The Flatlander & BDR NE section 6 pass through there. Both are mostly paved with some dirt roads. Both are rural NH countryside! PM me if you want the .gpx files. Just came back from our first trip through the Adirondacks! Stayed at Wellington Notch CG. You have a spot you are heading to...

Starting to explore the Adirondack's and points west.

Did a drive through and found so many rivers, streams. brooks of clear water just hoping to be fished. Not finding an abundance of spots to camp and fish.. Since my daughter has moved to NW NY I'll be traveling through a bit more than I have ever (like never..). All new to me! We just ran the...

    U.S. Park Pass

I'm in the Nor'east and use it in all the National Forests! !/2 price on camping in the NF is still worth it! I've used it at National wildlife areas along the coast as well. Remember it's not just National Parks! It's all Federal run areas.

These National Parks Will Require Reservations in 2022

So happy to hear you visited the Nor'East. Gaspe is a very unique area if you get amongst the locals! Same can be said for Newfoundland (U being silent, first D almost, you'll get the hang of it). I've wanted back for 3 years now... I also hope I out-live them... You ever do come back to...
