You will love it when it gets there. It really is straight forward, the only thing I would say is that in the directions it says "you may need to remove the drive axle" when it should say "you WILL have to remove the drive axle" (drivers side only). There is no way I could have gotten the strut...
I took my son out to dinner last night and across the street was a really cool looking wrapped Tacoma. I just thought it looked different than what you usually see and thought I would share it with you guys. I know there are a lot of Tacoma fans here. I took the photos off of there web site.
That's petty much what I heard and expected. Getting a gobi rack for my Grand Cherokee was the plan since the day I drove it off the lot, so I didn't mind waiting but when i couldn't get a hold of anybody going into week 20 I was definitely worried i had wasted a lot of time. Can't wait for it...
LOL! That's a long wait my friend. Gobi pulled the money out of my account a couple of days ago, so I should be seeing it any day now. It was a lot easier when I had given up hope, now it's back to waiting everyday!!
So What are you saving for? We all know how expensive some parts can cost, so what are you saving money in your piggy bank for? RTT? Lift? Trailer? Maybe a whole new rig?
My piggy bank is trying to get fat enough for the Eezi-Awn Stealth Roof Top Tent. Luckily it's not available just yet.
Ahhh! I figured it out, his wife said "If you go overlanding one more time, pack all your shit and don't come back!". It looks like he made the right choice!! LOL
I'm like you, I have my CCW and always have my gun on me but when I'm in my vehicle I wanted immediate access to it without having to un-seatbelt or anything like that. I have a brand new rig so I also didn't want to drill holes in anything. What I found that works great and I have set up in my...
That does suck, lucky for you it was only the ladder. I know for me there is no way I could have paid for my whole rack twice! I bet there is going to be a whole bunch of unhappy people soon.
And the answer is...............Don't ever give up! LOL....Got an e-mail from Gobi saying my rack is done and I should be hearing from the shipping company soon to arrange delivery. So it looks like orders are running around 24 weeks right now for delivery.
well finely got some good news!!! Gobi e-mailed me today and said my rack was finished and I would be hearing from the shipping company soon to arrange delivery! So it looks like right now shipping time on new racks is running between 20 to 24 weeks.
Glad to see you got your ladder. I think your lucky you did. Gobi is contacting everybody who has an order through trail duty, something is going on with them.
Gobi has posted all over there Facebook and Instagram pages to contact them immediately if you have placed an order through TrailDuty. Doesn't look good!
