I use ratcheting tie downs made by Goodyear I got from Costco very inexpensive yet I love them. They come way to long for my roof rack. But after using them for awhile I figured out what length worked for me and cut them to size.
The NOBO may get you through flat dirt roads for a wile. keep it off any washboard roads it will rattle apart. just don't like regular RV construction. You don't get what you pay for! I have a friend who has an R pod type trailer and has done some amazing runs with it. but I don't know how long...
I like the E rating. When I load down my 4runner plus all my armor it's fricking heavy. Then air down and crawl over and around sharp rocks! I want as much protection as I can get!
Welcome Mike! You sound like a cool dude in my book! I'm in So Cal but hope to run into you some day when I retire and start my traveling. We have a lot of the same likes.
