When you went up the Old 105, where did you pop out? I was just looking at a map, and it seems i would pop out near Linville Falls. Does that sound right? If so, were there camping opportunities along that?

I've gone up there before, I think i missed a turn somewhere though cause I popped out in Blowing Rock, and never really saw any camping opportunities lol

Kind of random, but does anyone have a good idea somewhere easy to get to this coming weekend? Just got my trailer and RTT and want to do a shake down this weekend, but with a full size truck with no real mods yet, don't want anything to crazy...

Thanks, I'm like you in that I still have my stock tires on there since I didn't want to waste money and buy new tires without running the current ones down, but i'm getting close to finally buying. Wish we had a Silverado Club(s) similar to Jeeps to get more ideas out there easily

I'd be good with just a meet up or an actual trip. I dont like to get too crazy with the roads as I have a Chevy Silverado, but I just bought an old trailer and CVT RTT so definitely looking forward to testing it out

Yea I’m not overly worried about spending too much more money. I have the iPhone X Max, and it takes incredible photos. Thinking of just getting one more solid lense for the Canon at some point

I have a Canon T5. Definitely interested in learning more, and expanding the different lenses I have, etc
