We stayed in the turn out on the left right before the last bridge 07/26. We were real close to the water. Didn't put poles in river but a guide came up as we were packing and caught one right off the bat. The hot springs there was nice too.
FYI-Laurel Lakes and tributaries are barbless lures only and the lakes are not stocked. Real pretty location. You shouldn't have any trouble with the trail.
Costco frozen Vegetable Yakisoba. Bring up to temp and add what ever pre cooked meat sounds good. I added some beer to the pot while defrosting. This trip I pre BBQ'd chicken brests and then diced them at home. Real easy and doesn't take a lot of watching with the liquid in there to keep from...
Front Runner Outfitters is a business. They sell high end gear. They have a full showroom and a second one with larger rack accessories. The showroom has a couch but if you don't want to stand the whole time you might want a chair. You don't need one though.
The route is needed for the rally...
Front runner Outfitters has offered their location for our "monthly" meetup. It will be 8/11 @ 09:30 am. I use the term monthly loosely as I have been bad at scheduling these. Come on out meet some new people and see some cool rigs. There is always at least one new idea I get from going to these...
Those using the plastic holders either drive to slow or on too easy of trails. :grinning:
I used to use those as well. Even witht he paper towel I almost always lost a few. So I had to bring more "just in case eggs". I noticed one day that our cafeteria chef at work refilling the scrambled eggs...

I will try and do better in posting here. I also post on the OB west facebook as well as my IG https://www.instagram.com/endlesstrailstoexplore/
We will be skipping May. I will be at Expo as will a bunch of others. I think June will be a trail run.
The Springs at Borrego is really nice but not what you are looking for.
Where you camp really depends on where you want to explore the next day.
Arroyo Sallado Campground has pit toilets but other than that you wouldn't know you are in a campground. Top of Sheep Canyon has a few spots you can...
It was in the low 90s two weeks ago. I think the heat is here. Lots of great spots to see all over the park and in the neighboring area.

Come on out to Front Runner in Agoura for the April Overland Bound Ventura County Monthly Meetup. Front Runner is opening up their showroom for us to lounge in. They are also offering Coffee and Donuts as well.
I wanted to do a local trail afterward but I don't know if it really works out for...
