    If you see little to no bashing in your future, I would go Alu-Minium (I love the way that word sounds). If you hit a deer with an aluminum bumper, yea, you are probably replacing it unless you know a welder equipped for Alu-Minium.

    Ask ask ask away. Honestly, a crimp connection is sufficient.........and faster to make. Just make sure and do a tug test. Not to dissuade you from soldering. This little variety packs of shrink wrap are nice but they have way too much overlap in size. I have found the most economical path...
