Getting her ready for our annual road trip

Got her rolling yesterday. Need to trim the fender and the front bumper to clear at full stuff.

This past weekend, started tearing down the front suspension. Welded up Total Chaos cam tabs, and replaced on the frame: Got the shock tower gussets in too: Old stuff for sale: and now she sits, waiting for some parts to come in:

Looked back at our trip report, and it was section 5 that gave us the most trouble. Section 3 had plenty of downed trees that we either drove over, was already cleared or had to move the trees. https://overlandbound.com/forums/threads/2nd-annual-family-overland-trip.2292/

We did it this past summer, end of June. Lots of downed trees, washouts, and snow at higher elevations. With this winter snow, I'm sure snow will be on the trails well into July. Bring a chain saw! Awesome trail. I've got a trip report here some where.

We won't be attending the NW Overland rally this year but we did last year. I highly recommend for anyone considering. Have fun!

Was there for 30 mins or so, but had to split. That 70 series LC was sooooo nice

Blue shiny stuff arrived. Got the LT coilovers with 700lbs coils. I'll have to figure out when I can install.

Check with the ranger station also. I seem to recall not allowing trailers...but I could be wrong.
