What rig do you have? On the road coming in there is a water hole with about a foot of water but has a sandy bottom, so not really an issue of getting stuck.

I use a casita 16 foot when I know what trails I’ll be on. raised 1 1/2 inches and 15 inch tires. I use Bungie cords to keep the cabinets closed.
