A year later and just now unboxed my US Off Road winch mount. Got it prepped for primer and painted the carrier and mounting points black. Waiting to have some time off to paint the face silver to match the rest of the car.
Here it is after I finished prepping it for primer.
Check out this website. There a ton of different style of mounts you can go with.

You should be OK with that handheld on the trail. But I have a Firefly antenna with a tunable tip by firestick. What vehicle are you putting it on?

I have weekends off for the summer. Which means I might be able to make a few events if I'm not too busy with school work.

Welcome @chuckamazuk. This is a good group to be a part of. What kind of vehicle do you have? Don't be shy and post some pictures.

I've told her already. I'm pretty straight forward and too blunt at times. It's just how I am. But none the less I am committed to her. I'm not here looking for a date. Maybe in search of a Bromance. Hell your Facebook future said we were destined to get married LMAO! No homo!

WHAT A C*CK BLOCK! LOL
I was single when I posted this. Got engaged a month later. Legally I'm still single. Couldn't file my taxes as engaged last time I checked.

@CQBSquirrel I would recommend a cb radio at the very least so you can stay in contact with the rest of the group while out on the trails. If you need help picking one out feel free to message me.

@CQBSquirrel I've never been there, but my guess is that you should be OK if you stick to the light trails. Good tires go a long way.

Met up with some cool new people I met online and headed out and hit some dirt trails and scouted out some nice camping spots.

Swapped out the white bulbs on the bumper lights for some yellow bulbs. Makes a nice difference while driving in bad weather.
