Wrap up will be whenever you want. I’m gonna be up and on heading out by 0800 if not earlier because I have to work Sunday. You can leave early as well of if anyone else wants to stay you can explore more.
According to my NOAA charts, snow is receding dramatically. We may have to go on the hunt for some. I’ll update here when the next system comes through next week with how snow levels look. There was snow everywhere the day I wrote this up. If anything, it’ll still be a great off roaring trip...
There’s at least 2 RSVPd so you’ve at least got someone to attach a tow strap to. Lol. And according to my NOAA charts, the snow has already dramatically drawn back so there might not even by snow by the time the day comes. But, we’ll see. It’ll still be a good time and an overnighter at least.
I have a spare radio you can at least listen on.
Recovery board is always a good idea, I don’t have a winch either, just gonna count on the person behind me to pull me backwards. Lol.

I emailed you what I have. It’s a combination of what was on the paper map at the meet ups and what I have heard going on. Hope it’s close to what we’re doing.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this Rally Point has to be cancelled. My truck was hit and run on last night and it out of service until further notice. I am so sorry to have to cancel this trip. I will report this trail in the future when I get my truck back though. This is really a nice day...
Central California Overland Bound’s first overnighter. A closer and shorter trip for those who are not able to make the relatively long distances and/or the early Friday departures. We will be meeting in the town of Mariposa and exploring the mountains of Mariposa and Tuolumne County. No set...
Watching some of the videos heading to and from Laurel Lakes are crazy! 4 door Jeep Rubicon had to make a 6 point turn to get around one of the switchbacks! Area looks absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to get out there!
My favorite pictures from the trip! If anyone wants to use these, feel free but I’d love a mention “IG:@blackbettyonefive” if you could be so kind. Thanks! Can’t wait to see some of you in Bodie!
I am so excited! I can’t wait to get out there! I’ll be leaving a bit earlier to meet with my uncle, so we’ll be able to save a couple more spots for us all.
