Selling my Rigid Industries Dual Side Shooter Spot "Ditch" Lights (Item #26221). These can obviously be used for whatever you want. They are in perfect condition and also come with a set of smoke covers and amber covers. Some specs:
121 degree horizontal beam for maximum coverage
Same great...
If a lot of bugs are present I use red lights on both sides of my rig and it works great. If it is a no bug situation I use my Solar Camp Light from CVT. It can light up a big area.
Ooops! Ugh...OK, 3/3! I was looking at February and here we are halfway thru. Better change my post. But yes SARA is great. Their Santa Cruz location is good too, but the Capitola place is more private if there early before beer dorks like me show up. HAHA
I have actually been thinking of planning one on in Capitola at Sante Adairius Rustic Ales for a while (maybe 3/3?). Take over their parking lot(s) before they open. And I think on Saturdays Aptos BBQ delivers there. Great beer and BBQ...and rigs. Dog and kid friendly too so can't go wrong. Not...
So THAT is what that strap is for. I thought it was to hang the Trasharoo from trees so that if a bear decides to show up your trash is far from the vehicle. I'll have to look how to utilize the strap and where it goes.
Lots of good stuff in this post especially "you can stay out longer if you slow down." It seems like you have that nailed down and yes, I'm more of a "let's just go explore and see where the road/trail/etc takes me...within reason of course. And as I mentioned the plan is to go up to the NH, VT...
I don't know if "lucky" is the right word, but daring? I don't know. I've worked every day since I was 15 and part of me now just wants to do something I've never done and that is be unemployed by choice and travel. I'm sure I'll have some anxiety at first, but will quickly fade. Plus there is...
I'm not and have nothing to offer, but just wanted to say I love the color of your 4R. Reminds me of Audi Nogaro Blue which was an exclusive S4 color back in the day.
So reading thru a lot of these threads and the amount of planning that goes into those trips, has anyone just gone out and explored for a long trip (not just a weekend or day trip) without "planning"? Of course there will ALWAYS be some research involved. But for instance, come end of May I want...
Added some pictures and after setting it up, you actually CAN use the stand to elevate it off the ground without the plate. I only used it once in the cold and rainy PNW and didn't use the stand. But setting it up today they both work together so the base plate is just an option should you want it.
Drained the front and rear diff and took the 3rd member off the axle. Taking them to get 4.56's put in and an ARB rear locker in Thursday. And yes, I know the whole axle didn't need to come off, but I'm putting in Icon rear hydraulic bumpstops and want to clean up some things. Going to put in...
That's how this one is. I only will use it to fill tires and run a rear locker. But with research thats all that is needed. If you want to fill quicker and have front and rear lockers then the dual pump ARB is better. I didn't need that. They also sell a smaller pump just for lockers. But...
So then what do you guys do if you use your synthetic winch line in a sandy situation? Get home, unspool your line and wash it? Or do you wait? I just ask because I used it twice in Pismo which of course is SANDY! Haven't used it since but I need to respool with some tension soon, but figured...
