Who owns a Land Rover ?

Hey guys here’s my ‘04 Disco It’s a dedicated travel rig and it’s been an absolute gem. Also, the green ones are the fastest ;)

    Hi all,

Quite honestly it’s the traditional enthusiasts that are complaining about it. The general public is going to eat it up. It’s a stunning car and superbly capable. Stock to stock I new vs old I’m certain the old one (sorry to those owners) would be left behind. As well it would do it in...

    Roof Top Tent (RTT) Questions

I have a rooftop tent on my Discovery, it's fantastic for our application. I have spent 100's of nights in a ground tent over the years, and when I travel by motorcycle i'll return to the ground. What nails it for me is really that you are traveling with a real bed. Our 23zero has an excellent...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Oh yeah it was SCREAMING, and had been making noise for a couple days. Had I been local I wouldn't have been driving the car until it was fixed, but I was on the end of my third of three 1000km plus days and I was driving with my fingers crossed it was going to get us home. It was Sunday of the...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

It's an 04 with 200000km so about 120000miles. What has me annoyed is I changed the bearing in that pulley this season. Apparently it was junk. As for belts. If you don't know how old it is throw a new one on. They are realtively cheap. Much cheaper than a tow.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

New serpentine belt, new idler pulley. The last pulley took a dump 142km from home... 142km from home after a 9000km trip. It wasn’t ideal to get stranded so close, but it was better than being stuck further than that! Oh, and new sway bar end-links up front

A Sunday day trip with an assortment of trail types from (minimal) paved back roads to some very mild rock crawling. Mud and water are possible but will be minor. There are many very nice spots to stop and make a cup of coffee or just take break.View Rally Point

    Ethan from London ON Canada

Tada! Welcome To Overland Bound. Please wander around the forum and get comfortable, but be sure to keep an eye on the Canada - Central (QC ON) section. It may feel a little sparse but we're sweeping out the tumble weeds this fall and (covid notwithstanding) come spring we'll be swatting black...

    North Shore of Montreal.

Hi Seeking, I have recently come on as a Canada Member Rep for Ontario/Quebec. There have not recently been any member reps for the area or a dedicated director. Despite the shortage of local leadership, what I've seen as I peruse the threads of seasons gone by is that the region was gaining...

    Camp Photos!

Hey Lanlubber! Let me hit you back one at a time ;). The concept of getting stuck is always on my mind, but I'm cautious. You really have to make a solid effort to get stuck. I won't take the car near anything that resembles a beach or dunes when I'm alone, it's not work hours of digging to...

    Has overlanding become elitist ?

Used gear when you can get your hands on it is where it's at. I just installed a used RTT on a buddies outback with him. He saved a thousand bucks off of retail, the tent is cherry. Made me jealous I paid retail for mine. ;)
