How will you differentiate yourself from all the 4x4 shops in the area?
What will you do to make it easier to buy from you rather than have Amazon deliver it to my door in 2 days?
I am in McKinney and have been to Exploration Outfitters in Meade, OK. Warn, Smitty, ARB, they sell the same...
This, but it helps to know how to manually do it in case your are away from your computer and need to make changes. A nice PDF stored on the phone really helps.
On a vehicle I had a problem find a good place through the firewall, I took the wire through a drainhole in the floor, then followed the E-brake cable up into the engine compartment.
Also you want to put that through a wire loom, I prefer braided like this...
No. I do not want politics of any kind. No matter what side you take, ~50% of your customers disagree with you. It is plain stupid to take political positions. In fact, politics I agree with is often worse, as places I might like suddenly get protested, etc.
REI was great years ago, now like many it is too political, they work against their own customers by supporting Sierra, and the Camelback thing was pure stupid.
I still go to their store 1-2 month, but only to physically evaluate something I will go buy on-line elsewhere.
I use the portable ARB and prefer it since I have several vehicles. I converted it to Anderson 175A connectors and have the Warn QC on all my vehicles. As for tank, I run that in bed or on rack.
For shocks I run Rancho Monotubes with 4" Rancho Lift.
Factory fenders are fine.
FYI mine is a 2002.
