Some more parts came in one ton over knuckle steering, front 4.5 coils, adjustable double shear trac bar, front/center frame stiffeners and hd coil retainers.

And I picked up an oven/stove combo that I need to clean up but got it cheap
Hell ya man I’d like to try and go for a trip soon and maybe head into Tennessee or wherever. I’m working on my main trail rig but my DD is capable too.
So progress got slowed down a bit as I wait for my intake, valve cover and fuel rail to come back from powder coating (last min change of plans) but I did get the motor cleaned up and repainted with por15 high temp.

Thanks and yes I’ve already found a ton of info and ideas in the short time I’ve been here compared to just cruising google. I look forward to hopefully meeting some of y’all on the trails.
So I started tearing into the motor today got most of it apart and drained most fluids so tom I will finish taking it apart then finish the couple mods I have and put it all back together. At the end I’ll show a before and after pic of the engine bay.
Here’s the new (off my previous jeep)...
I’m def down for making a group I got some friends at work that I’ve been getting interested. Hopefully they will start comin out and we can get something together.
Yea that’s a clean looking zj I’m def a fan of simple but capable when it comes to the grands. I have an iron rock critical path (long arm front) that I took off another zj I had but instead of the 7” I’m swapping the springs for 4.5 since I’m not really crawling in Florida. The Heim’s are only...
I don’t know much bout fjs but if you didn’t find one of those, I would look for a wj with a 4.0. The awd doesn’t matter cuz you can swap in a 231 and have a strong tcase that goes into 2wd also. The wj is like a Cadillac version of my zj lol.
If you don’t mind me askin what would upgrade to from the wj. I also was looking at drawers when I build mine but I need somewhere for a cooler so at most I might have one pull out on the side. That way I would have drawer then cooler
