    Leaf-Sprung Rigs

I've owned my 93 Wrangler 'YJ' for almost 8 years now and it does okay on local roads and the occasional highway run. I've taken one 1,000 mile weekend road trip to western PA and it was rough, pun intended. I thought after that I would be confined to the local camp spots because of my...

    Let's see those Overland Beachers!!

Unfortunately, without a self-contained camper there isn't any legal beach camping allowed near us. So not much of a setup in this pic, the camp site was a mile or so into the park and its a beach rig non the less!

    Hi-Lift Jack Security

Got a new Hi-Lift jack that just came in for Christmas! I'll be working out a custom mount on my tire carrier soon. I'll try to put the project up in the 'Do it yourself' thread. This leads me to ask how you guys/gals secure your Hi-Lift when its mounted in spots it might get swiped...

Seasoning a dutch oven or other cast iron pot or pan

Good tips! I'm planning on purchasing a few pieces of cast iron cookware (or at least a round skillet to start) and this will be great to keep in mind. Any brand recommendations for someone looking to get into cast iron cooking?

    Vehicle Electrical Distribution

Not exactly Overland related but the principle is probably still the same. For most distribution we did at the old job (Emergency Vehicle Conversions) we would make our own depending on the need. It would typically consist of a breaker or hi-amp switch for the main power, a few fuse blocks...

    The 5-dollar fold down.

Some of the DIY projects on here are beyond awesome. I just got around to test fitting and taking a few pictures of my 5 buck fold down table for my YJ. I few finish items still to go and I definitely plan on buying a hose to relocate my propane bottle/tank. It took me about an afternoon and...
