Just wait it out guys, another year or so and there are going to be great deals on ‘barely used’ Overland rigs all decked out and ready to go. Me personally am new to this as well as first time RV ownership but have been camping my whole life so I know the drill (leave no trace). Yes it sucks...
Got bored today and decided to organize some of the stuff in my bed. Mounted my traction boards to the top of my footlocker so they’re not bouncing around anymore. Just got to cut down the threaded rods a bit and all good. Haven’t posted any real photos of the truck yet (still mostly stock) so...
Finally took the plunge after lurking around this forum for a while and ordered my membership. It just arrived in the mail today! Looking forward to sharing my adventures with everyone! I’m hailing from Ontario Canada and while there aren’t many marked trails/campsites already on this forum I...
Just posted today that we will not be able to camp on Crown Land anymore due to the surge in numbers. Day use is still ok, for now. Read up before you head out: https://www.ontario.ca/page/recreational-activities-on-crown-land

Another recent outing. I really need to get better at taking photos of the van on the move not just at the end of the day when camp is set. You can see more photos on instagram instagram.com/caravanoverland
Camping season has begun!!
Just trying out my new setup before embarking on a real adventure. Sleeping quarters built inside the van and the Roadie window tents fit amazingly!
So you’re a local eh? Yes I agree with you about the lift and have so far not needed one. Most travels are dirt road anyway. So I stumbled on the Nippising Road one day and started at the town of Magnetawan and headed south. There is a trail map there by the town dam. From what I did, it’s just...
The kit unfortunately is “universal” as they advertise. It’s made to put huge rims on fwd cars. No one locally has the kit so I’m in the dark as to it’s full effect. Being this is my DD, I am a bit apprehensive making this rig a test rat.
