I'm just getting started putting my ram together for our first family trip with our new addition to our family (7 month old at the moment). We're planning to head out to southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. This rack is the first piece of equipment that went on my ecodiesel. I will have a...
Awesome! That track came right into GAIA. I marked it as a spot to check out when we get out that way, the pictures looked wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
You should be able to click your name in the top right hand it will give you a drop down. If you recorded your track, select “tracks” from the dropdown and I think there is an option somewhere after that to share a link possibly or you can export your tracks into a gps file.
Looks awesome! I'm looking forward to your GAIA post. If your campsite by the waterfall isn't a secret, I would love to mark that as a spot to check out.
@Tega1966 sorry I am just now seeing this. Had our first born child a bout a week ago, needless to say I've been occupied. I will share several that I've got going for Ozarks, Mark Twain and Ouachita.
I’ve got Gaia down on organizing, planning, marking waypoints to visit but I don’t know how to share effectively either. I’ve got lots of places marked as waypoints and organized into folders. Would be nice just to export folder but so far I’m only able to export waypoints individually.

@grubworm several years ago I was traveling along I40 near Lake dardanelle, It was evening and about 75 degrees. I remember rolling the windows down and smelling a scent similar to pine-sol. That area just smelled so fresh, even on the interstate.
@grubworm Awesome info. Thank you. I think that is where the arkansas offroad youtuber guy spends some of his time. That restaurant name sounds awfully familiar. I'll look at some of those spots on Gaia.
Taking advantage of spare time with the rona virus situation....I'm looking into some highlights within these three national forest for future trip planning. Would anyone care to share some key areas here? Waterfalls, lookout towers, epic views, peaceful dispersed camping spots, stream areas for...
The best vehicle for overland adventure is the one you already have. So long as the capabilities of the vehicle meet or exceed the needs for the terrain you will be in. I have a 2014 chevy silverado crew cab 4x4 as my daily driver. It has 120K on the odometer. For many months now, I've been...
Here is that setup I was talking about. The cooler is a 65 qt Pelican. The tubes are pvc and are filled to around 80% capacity with water. These go in the freezer prior to a trip to provide no-mess ice. I freeze several water bottles that go in as well. The pan is from a restaurant supply store...
If your leaning toward a non-powered cooler, Pelican is my brand. They stick with their customers. Support is awesome, warranty is no questions asked & lifetime. I made my own freezer ice packs out of PVC that I can freeze in the deep freeze, they run the length of the cooler and sit on the...
Although it was not a big overland trip, I did take some friends and family on a fishing trip to some farm-ponds about 1.5 hours drive from where I live. I got to try out my new blackstone griddle, which my wife purchased for me. I've used it once to cook dinner for myself but this was my first...
