Ended up removing the lower air dam like ThundahBeagle suggested previously. Haven't noticed any drop in mpg or cooling issues.

At that budget, I would do my best to find the nicest 2001-2006 z71 Tahoe/Suburban 4x4 I could find. I used to have an 06 Jeep Commander Hemi that I miss dearly, but from my experience, the Grand Cherokee WK/XK (05-10) were not very well built. Never ending electrical issues and stall problems...

Since then, I have angled the mount slightly more inwards so that it doesn't arc as high as in these pictures.

Got the whip antenna and mount all setup! The tie-down point fit perfectly between two light housings on the lightbar. I used a ziptie just as a precaution to prevent the antenna from backing out on its own.

It is always so nice to have a work surface close by for these little projects!

I had them wire up the five on the light bar as one, the two 100w Hellas on the front bumper as one, the two front side cubes as one, and two rears as one. I like the setup and I'm pleased with the light output.

While cleaning up the engine bay, I noticed that some of the wiring conduits were getting pretty brittle. So I bought 10ft from AutoZone and replaced what I could. What a pain!

I always try and clean up the car best I can before taking it in for service just as a curtesy for the shop to hopefully make their job a little easier.
