My dog barfed the first few times out when she was a pup but now it doesn't bother her. We stop for plenty of potty breaks and she just rolls with it.
She's off leash 99% of the time but I carry a 10' tie and a leash just in case.

Exactly!
I bought this 6mm to ring terminal. http://www.goalzero.com/mobile/p/241/6mm-male-to-ring-terminal-adapter
Cut the rings off
Then I cut the cigarette plug off of a standard ARB connector and spliced it to the 6mm end of the ring connector.
For what is worth-I ran my fridge using...

Moog sways all the way around
Full interior LED conversion
Spends most of her time as a school bus here in the PNW, but she's got it where it counts off road...
Welcome Greg! I'm just down the road in East Renton Highlands. Love seeing the kids getting involved. IMO that's one of the best parts of this lifestyle and community.

For what it's worth-your Suburban is a GMT900 generation it doesn't have torsion bars. The older generation (GMT800) has torsion bar front suspension that is crude, but easily adjustable (you'll hear folks call it "leveling").
I have an an 04 Suburban Z71 (again, GMT800) and it's a great...
I have this setup, but with older non-lithium.
Renogy 100w > MC4 adapter > goal zero yeti 400 > ARB 50 via an 6mm ring connector that I spliced to the standard 12v fridge connector.
I ran my fridge in back of my hot rig for 4 days at NWOR and came home with my Yeti at 100%. I did not plug...
Start by using it in stock form. Don't make the mistake of acquiring gear before you really need it.
You'll learn a lot quickly.

I'm new around here! I'm getting my rig ready for Northwest Overland Rally (NWOR) next weekend here in Washington.
I addressed the corrosion on my wheels with 3 coats of satin VHT and 2 coats of clear:
Then I mounted a 100w Renogy up top to keep my Goal Zero Yeti 400 charged. After...
I've been experimenting with a 12' Kelty Noah's Tarp and 2 kelty poles:
I think if I completely collapse the poles and tie it more securely to the truck I can make it more taught (and less likely to pool water)
