Looks like a viable option but I would wait for the kinks to work out and for the aftermarket to grow. And to say the FX4 is just a sticker and nothing else is dishonest. Hopefully it creates incentive for the other manufactures to produce better trucks. Toyota needs to get to the drafting boards.
Places I have been:
- The Orkney Islands
- Normandy France
- The Atlantic Wall museum in Oostende Belgium (If you are interested in WWII history this is the place to go)
- Northwestern Montana
I don't know about reliability of the Ram but my dad has had a 3500 Ram that he bought in 2008 it is his daily driver, uses it for his truck camper, and lives in Montana. So far few to no problems. It is a 6 cylinder diesel.
- Scott thank you for the rant as you called it. It is good to hear from some one that has done swaps and considered doing one their self. Do you have a shop or do you just work from home? I work out in Fontana and travel through Ontario on the way to work. I think I will go back to my plan...

- Is it foolishness for me to think that I could buy a $3000 Land Rover Discovery II, swap the engine and transmission, suspension, front and rear bumpers, tires and wheels, and armor and still be...

- Did you buy your Jeep from a private seller or dealership?
- Did you consider any other vehicles besides a Wrangler?
- How about the special...
Do you have any advice on buying a used Jeep, like what websites you used? Do you know of a site that explains all of the different trim levels? I know you are traveling and busy so reply when you can.
