New light bulbs for Wrangler headlights

I put the xtravisions in tonight, into my old lens. Most definitely brighter and wider then oem. I have new lens ordered so hope that helps some more.

    Snow Gear?

Sierra trading post can be good, But the stuff I have gotten from them is seconds. The wool socks I got were/are great, the carhart coat, not so great. The pockets are 2" lower than the exact same coat from a dealer. I saved nearly 100 bucks so I live with it.

New light bulbs for Wrangler headlights

I just received a package of Sylvania xtravision yesterday, supposed to be better than oem but not as good as the ultra that you posted. From my research it appears that the brighter and better lighting has a shorter life, so get a couple sets and carry the spare. Oh and don't touch the glass.

    Hi-Lift Jack

Years ago there was a brand called handiman, may still be ( I didn't check ). We all call them handiman killer jacks. Make sure and keep a firm grip on the handle, they have the ability to lower themselves. I have a handiman that has been faithful for over 30 years, it will be a farm tool now...

    OB Approved Recovery

I switched my cable to synthetic rope. Its lighter and if it breaks it just falls to the ground, it doesn't recoil like a cable. Good topic BTW

    Mountain biking

All I can add to what everyone else has posted is 'fit'. I am 5'11" and ride a 17.5" STACHE. You will not ride a bike that's not comfortable.

    Got a boo boo...

The pics of the rodeo makes me think of ole "croc Dundee" when he says " that's not a bumper, this is a bumper" or something like that. Happy anniversary

    Trail Toys NSA Switch Panel

Looks useful. Not sure I like all red wire. I work on some equipment that has 2 harness' that measure 1 1/4 each, all white wires.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

4 new bilstein shocks. Old ones (monroes) had 130,000 miles. My truck originally had bilsteins but carfax shows at 12,000 miles ford changed the shocks under warrenty, look like monroes. Truck was also traded in at around that time. HUGE improvement

    Worst stuck

Probably the worst was when it took 2 yotas to pull my hi-centered 3/4 ton chevy sideways enough for me to get traction. After rethinking I had to unload 1/2 a load of firewood to stuff under the tires of the same truck and the farmer (at least 80 YO) tugged on me with his JD tractor to get me...

    2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU

Nice. Looks quite capable now. My last project was a crawler. It was sold to purchase my ranger, it is very hard to not go crazy tricking it out.

    Hummer H1 Cruise/Gathering

I thought I could watch the whole thing but I could not, sorry. 4 minutes in they finally hit dirt, hideous music, and at least the last 3 minutes, of a 8 minute video, is 9 hummers parked while a drone videos them. unsubscribed

    2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon

I wanna know more about your custom bed rack. What do you use it for? I am wanting to build something for my ranger kinda like that, taller though.

    Fuel Prices: The Overlander's Friend

When I had a rock crawler, I quit going when diesel hit 3.00 a gal. The crawler itself didn't burn hardly anything, but getting to the trails 70 miles away, in a 7-9 mpg diesel I had to quit. Now I doubt it would affect me, but my truck now gets nearly 20 mpg, that I can handle. I really doubt...
