Welded a different mounting bracket to my roof rack for a lower profile.

While I was at it, I painted the roof ribs with truck bed liner just in case the weight on the rack is enough to flex the basket.
She’s looking great! My first car was a ‘99 WJ. I loved it but it was not 4WD so it had to go. The 2002 model fixed many issues of the ‘99 so you’re in great shape! Have fun!
I guess it’s time to whip out the jig saw and open up the wheel well! [emoji12]
A little body work and a bushwhacker fender flare would do wonders! [emoji6][emoji6]
I’m very interested in your sway bar findings.
2 questions:
-what do the air springs do for you?
-what are the pros/cons of disconnecting front sway bar vs rear sway bar?
This is something I just recently learned. I normally just toss a bag on the ground but every once in a while an air mattress would be used. I would always put the blankets on TOP of the mattress to keep warm, but someone finally showed me to insulate the bottom of the air mattress. It makes...

That’s super interesting. Thank you for the write up. I’ve been wondering about sway bar disconnects. I’ve heard that term knocked about but don’t know much about it. My Honda Pilot is not your normal overlanding rig so bolt-on parts kits are not normal as well. The suspension is very stiff so...
We had our first family adventure today! It was a super short trip to convince the wife driving off paved roads is a great idea for our family. The 7 month old did just great on the rocky road. We picked a geo cache within a national forest near us and spent a couple hours practicing for longer...
I must admit the idea of US government shutting down Mother Nature is amusing to me. She was here for a long time before an adolescent USA started fussing about.
Of course I completely understand what’s really happening. The organizations maintaining parks camping areas and other man made...
Yes.
Here’s a interview I found helpful.

Also, I saw in they’re planning to release support for Apple car play this year. I think that’s pretty big.
