Well have not had mine out, I have spent the last few months waking the old girl from a 17 year sleep. She is about ready to hit the road

Living in the republic of mass there are no roads with out people, lol. I do enjoy 2 am rides for that reason. Though at that hour there is a good chance you are sharing the road with some wild life.

Well between work, and working on the van I haven't been online much. but I should be driving the van this week. lots of thing have been fixed and updated. Once I do a shake down run it will be on to using it for what it was built for

well...... I traded my 72 Scout for it. I probily could have sold it for 5k so I'm figuring that's what the van cost me.

When I had my Scout I had a few cheep tent campers. I used them as base camps, never took em very far off road. worked well that way. But as for traveling long distance on logging roads and such I think they would have come apart at the seems.

got the carb on, started on 1st crank, nice and smooth like it ran yesterday. yard drove her. so very happy. now on to belts, hoses and fluids. Then comes the fun stuff!

Finaly got back to her, wheel cyls replaced, lines replaced both tanks in and fresh gas in them, gonna throw a new holley on in the am and she should be moving under her own power for the first time in a long time.
