I have a brand new Front Runner Outfitters SUV type cabinet with a fridge slide and drawer slide storage. This unit is completely unused. Bought for my Bronco build a few months ago and didn't take into consideration the slant of the back seat and cargo area. Didn't fit by about 1" so I never...
UPDATE: I STILL HAVE THIS AND NEED TO SELL IT. ASKING 1100 OBO!
I have a brand new, never used, Front Runner Outfitters Cub Pack Drawer and Fridge Slide cabinet. Bought brand new from Front Runner and it won't fit in my Bronco because of the slant of the back window at the top. I didn't pay...
State Farm was a "no". I know a local State Farm rep who handles multiple companies. She says that Progressive will actually write me a stated value policy. Pretty high but not terrible. Roughly 140/mo for 25k and 190/month for 35k. I am working now to see about cancelling the liability...
I am planning on trying the trip in June for the 1st time. There was a travel book mentioned at the beginning of the thread. Looks like a new version comes out in a few weeks and I will be buying it. Seems to detail some ins and outs like camping areas and such from the reviews of other editions.
Sounds good. I'll post a thread when the time comes. I'm still finishing up on my Bronco but it is getting pretty close. Been working on it for 2 years nearly.
I am just east of Dallas. I searched some other forums and looks like some of the Dallas people do occasionally meet up. However, they seem to be going way up by Frisco and stuff. Tough for me to go all the way across the metroplex on a weeknight in rush hour traffic. (in the bronco) lol.
I...
I bought an Asus ZenPad 8 Android tablet on amazon. It was cheap (around $125), has an sd card slot and good internal storage, and it has a gps chip, Seems to work for me. I bought the 8" adjustable ram mount and have it centered on windshield just above my dash.
I have had good look with a Helinox Chair One when I hunt. Packs up tiny and just the right height for a ground blind. Now I pack a couple in my overland rig. I also have 4 of the Front Runner chairs, and like them. They pack up smaller than a normal folding scissor chair. The legs fold in...
I am literally fighting the same thing right now. I have a Smittybilt fridge that is 20" tall and that kills a lot of space in the back of my bronco. Can't get it mounted on top of drawers because it is too tall. As others mentioned, Dometic and I believe Engle have some shorter fridges.
Excellent thanks! I just talked to a State Farm agent and she seemed optimistic. She has pics of bronco now and is talking to under writing. I'll email her about stated value.
Ye
Yeah that is exactly what I was looking for. My renters insurance said no because it wasn't in a locked garage. I only have a carport. It won't even fit in a garage or carport anymore lol. I need new renters insurance it seems as well lol.
Very interesting. The full coverage would be nice for the off road situations. It is cool that they will cover you for that. I am most concerned with someone stealing it while it sits at home. Sounds like my renters insurance for my home won't cover it either. I work out of town 5 days a...
Yeah I talked to my current agent. She spent the day trying to find coverage but wasn't successful. She couldn't even find full coverage much less full value. I'll keep looking.
Yeah I agree I may need a specialty carrier. I have looked at a few like hagertys but they are out because of lift and winch. I'll keep looking.
And thanks on the bronco. Can't wait to finally finish it. That is awesome on your 82 4x4. Man that is one of the greatest trucks of all time! Love...
