a battery might be overkill for your needs, i personally just have a biolite solar panel with integral battery that i use to charge my devices.
large batterys add weight and that trailer looks heavy already, if your not running lights frigdes etc i dont see a need for it
Id take the tacoma after reading about this common issue on the colorado, i personally dont need side airbags deploying mid trail

We have over packed all kinds of stuff for the kiddo in the past, no joke his favorite thing to play with is the hook strap off the kayak. Loves running around hooking up "tow points" to other toys etc
We take our 3 yr old son everywhere, hes been to moab 3 times driving down from Alberta Canada.
We bought the best carseat for offloading with high head bolsters and two cup holders for snacks etc, I have a ram mount iPad holder across the jeeps sound bar for movies. Also we found a tray that...
Just my opinion being in the industry, buy the best parts you can. A blown diff leaves you dead in the water, not something to cut cost on.
On avg we quote 2300$ CAD for a regear with solid pinion spacers no crush sleeves
because they are a less structural, they dont want them stacked on top of another using the same mount. IE the top unit would deform or break the lower unit
The main difference other then price is wall thickness, the fuel pax is blow molded vs rotopax is a rotational mold. also the warranty is 5yrs vs 10yrs. Fuel pax also isnt designed to be stacked
One thing to note about have a trailer setup is the ability to have all the gear loaded ready to head outta town, without having your daily full of camp gear all week. I can hitch-up after work friday fill the cooler and im on the road.
Also if you build the trailer for you needs, it can handle...
We use biolite led minis with one site light XL, teamed up with a small 10+ solar panel. I can run these light all night, then the panel recharges the next morning. Setup takes minutes.
We can also run them directly off our biolite cook stove or any USB source.
perfect so your running a 3.6L, oh my JKUR im running 4.88 on 37's also auto. i wouldnt go any higher then 4.88 that rpms are perfect at 110KM but starts to get high and unconfortable @120km
not to mention the tooth contact gets smaller as you increase the ratio, 4.88 is stronger then 5.13 and...
Cant thank you enough, great spot! Lake was dead calm perfect for the kayak. Although the algae is starting to get bad.
There was another 5th wheel down there, awesome local guy.
Also took your dare on the shortcut, I can see how it could be tricky. Was bone dry and in good shape

I have always said you should never cheap out on tires or underwear, a failure of either is a bad day.
Id personally like either the Cooper At3 for lighter overland rigs, its an AT with great highway manners but still got a decent tread to get you down an average trail.
I would recommend bullet style hinges, they weld on. We use them for all the tailgates etc on our inhouse built trailers
