Hey, I know you posted this about a year ago, but we are thinking of the smittybuilt and would love to see your's. Would you be open to showing it if indeed you do still have it?
I just bought this tent. We set it up in the backyard as a dry run. You should have seen the smile on my guy's face. He likeeee. I'll take the diagonal in my 5' bed over a late night quarrel over poles any day! In fact, I think we'll design our truck bed storage system around this new tent...
looks awesome with those lights. I was wondering if some people prefer the sport if they are going to customize lockers and such. Still an awesome rig.
cool, sounds like you have an adventure ahead. I saw this great water filter review on youtube. Sounds like something you'll want to look into if you are traveling south. Check it out here:
That would make me mad a too. I'm hoping since Tacoma's have such a good rep and live long lives, we'll not have to worry about the warranty, but with that said, we are probably going to wait a year before we go on our long overland trip. Then we will have to decide. Do you think the same issue...
So when do we get to talk food? Is there a forum/tread on Food Faux pas aka snacks that don't do well in the dirt or versa visa? I plan to bring easy cooking for the overnight, but are there any food allergies in the group? Just in case I get a wild hair and decide to make something to share.
So I'll reply to my own post. Yikes. We have adjusted our plan and will we keeping the trailhawk as is (Such a primadona) and investing in a Tacoma, no tow behind. Here is "Henry"
in all his naked glory.
