Went for a quick overnighter to Long Point Provincial Park on Lake Erie. A surprisingly nice drive from Niagara to Long Point. Followed the country roads to get there. Nice not to have drive around the GTA to get anywhere.
Long Point does hold up compared to other provincial parks. Ranks pretty...
I have KDSS on my '10 TE T4R. As @Lintnercorey mentionned, it it more expensive for modifications. When I was inquiring what the cost of a 1.5" Front Spacer Lift (which I later decided against) would be, I received two prices: one for T4Rs WITH kdss, and one for T4Rs WITHOUT kdss. The pricing...
@TerryD @Chris Jones @mmnorthdirections Ya, true. I had thought about that myself actually. I'm often frequent the T4R forums for that type of stuff. It could possibly be useful in some way, shape, or form. I could definitely see the problem of the forum feeling clogged tho. Possibly a section...
@Raul B Ya, my parents love the auto tailgate on their Escape. I'm not a fan of it myself, but eh, if they like it, I have no problem w/ it.
A Ranger Raptor? I didn't even know that was gonna be a thing for 2018. That should be pretty cool. I haven't taken a look at the new O.J. mobile tho (too...
@Jimmy P True, that could definitely work as well. The one benefit I see to different sub sections is that it would require less searching. All your vehicles info would be in a dedicated spot.
@Jake Wettern | iamjake Kinda like a hierarchy that went:
Maintenance and Repairs -> Company -> Vehicle
For example, if someone had a question or whatever for a 4Runner the hierarchy would be:
Maintenance and Repairs -> Toyota -> 4Runner
@Lintnercorey True, everyone will value different items when purchasing a vehicle. Idk, if you shop often, I can understand how that auto rear hatch can be appealing. It might seem gimmicky to me, and these items seem like poor reasons to choose one vehicle over another. Many more important...
@aearles Well said. If the product is good, it will prove itself on the market without taking shots at other products.
The TV commercials from Chevy make me cringe so much lol. The "real people, not actors" ones.
Essentially, since many of us drive similar vehicles (T4Rs, Land Cruisers, Jeeps, etc.), some of us surely have done some DIY maintenance and repairs. For example, I've started to do some DIY maintenance (oil changes & stuff like that) on my 4Runner. For example, once I complete some...
I came across a video that someone posted on the /r/4Runner sub-reddit. It's a video from the Ford YouTube channel of their comparison of the '17 Explorer vs '17 4Runner. As a proud owner of a '10 T4R, I was intrigued by what the Ford's arguing points would be for the Explorer. The answer...
So, I was browsing the /r/overlanding sub-reddit, and a user called /u/Spvrtan posted this:
Reddit link:

It appears to be a tool to document to your rig (mods & stuff). I gave a quick test drive, and it seems like an interesting concept.
Here's the link to the website...
@nezzie09 True, I was planning on joining, but their membership period runs from Jan-Dec. Not on the date you sign up. So, I'm waiting until the Jan of '18 to sign up
Hi everyone,
Anyone done the Ardbeg Trail? If so, could you possibly post the location of the trail please (Google Maps, or something else)? I can't seem to find how to access the entrance. Also, if anyone has done the trail, would you mind providing your thoughts on it please (tips, tricks...
