Mike and I had a blast in Uwharrie National Park. This is the last of our 3 days off-roading in Uwharrie. The Xterra and Pilot both did great despite slick conditions!
The shackle on my subframe is a 2 ton D shackle with a 1/2” pin. I drilled the hole in the subframe jack point to 1/2” and used a grade 8 1/2” bolt and washers to secure it to my Pilot.

The Pilot doesn’t have a low range. I installed 2 external trans coolers and a trans temp gauge so I can keep an eye on the temps. It didn’t even get close to overheating during my three days off-roading.
