I'd love to get into a little photography, I have a Sony nex-5 and have been thinking of taking an intro course. Do you guys think an nex-5 be a good learning tool?
I haven't received mine yet, however I was thinking of clear plasti-dip or clear coat. More leaning towards the clear plasti-dip cause you can just peel it off at the end of the season and re-apply.
Here is my Jade 2000 4Runner. Love this small truck, plan on keeping it forever. Hoping to drive from NYC to Baja California this year. I keep it pretty close to stock and don't plan on abusing her.
Brown just delivered my RTIC cooler a couple of days earlier than expected. It looks great, much better than I thought it would. I didn't find any of the defects that were reported on previous reviews. Testing it for leaks now.
Just ordered a RTIC 65 Tan, not even sure if I need it, but I know I have been wanting larger cooler for a while.
Wondering if Obi-Juan used the force on me, and if you did, can you use it to get me a good one?
Looking good on that Santa Cruz Gary. Unfortunately my skillz are rusty and fear of getting hurt is now something I understand. LOL Don't think I will be jumping onto any picnic table any time soon. I now ride around like a commuter.
I agree, but that is only if you can get a good one. I was looking at the reviews on Amazon. they seem to have a lot of quality issues. I'm still on the fence.
Yeah, it is a little bit more of a commitment. If ever I need to be overlanding for more than a couple of months, I will pull the trigger on one. Hopefully they will be more affordable then.
I ordered a cheap tent for an Overlanding trip I am planning. More of a learning experience and will make a bigger purchase down the road. Do wish I had the space for a RTT.
@Mademan925, Thanks for the reviews. I've got a set of Maxsa sitting in my amazon cart, might be pulling the trigger on these. For the price I think they are the best deal. Not sure if the Maxtrax is worth the extra $.
I like to carry money, extra food, water, tire repair kit, tools, cell phone, a wool blanket and my leatherman. I think I can live a month in the city just with that.
