If I hadn’t dropped the ball and bought supplies I would’ve been painting it tomorrow. However I don’t have the paint or primer to get the job done. Hopefully Friday night I can get something going on it.
The day we started this is the day my wife decided to start 10 projects around my house...
I agree that it would look good, even if you can’t see the bottom at the moment. Let me get it printed this weekend hopefully and then we can find a time to make a meet up.
Have the welder just need all of the others. Ha ha. Maybe not the divorce though lol been drooling over the Miller 220. Always wanted to learn how to TIG
I’m excited to actually fab some parts for something. I haven’t done much but have always wanted too. If this goes well then the winch Mount will be next and maybe a rear bumber and then sliders and then....and then....lol
We had some events come up so we are going to push the fab day that was scheduled for tomorrow to next Saturday the 14th. Me and @PNW EXPLR will try and keep you all updated on a place and time.
I already have her lined up to drive the 4Runner while I run the FJ. She just wants to drive when its not so technical so she can figure out how to pick lines. Figured the next outing I'll just have her drive and ill enjoy the scenery.
Want to meet at the Kennewick RDO and use their pressure washer and water haha. Thinking I might do that today instead of hitting up the one on the way home.
There was a group that did some trails outside of Leavenworth a couple of weekends ago. I will look to see if I can find that one again...
Talking with @PNW EXPLR and we have set a date for Nov. 7th to have a fabrication class. We will be making a front bumper for my new to me 4Runner. There will be some welding, bending and cutting. If any of you are interested. Below is a picture of what I have planned. Simple but functional.
eventually yes. Maybe spring time. Need to get some other priorities finished first. But I’m hoping to have two rigs that we can take out.
As for the tires I might take you up on them. These are almost brand new but never hurts to have a more beefier set when you hit the trails
