Do you have any idea as to where to go in VT? I’ve been up there a handful of times, and always fall in love with the scenery. If you’re interested we could try and plan a trail run, I’d like to get up there again and do some exploring!
Well, I’m just past that stop on the east side. I live on Long Island. I’d love to travel upstate NY more but just getting past the city is a nightmare in itself.

I'd carry a pistol on me everyday if I had a choice, especially in times like this. However, NY state isn't friendly when it comes to gun owners. Applying for a pistol permit takes forever, if I apply for a permit today, I won't see it for another 9 months. It's something I need to do but I...
Living on Long Island, its a bubble that sucks you in and doesn't let you go. It's a hassle just getting off the island! But like everyone else has said, time, and money. I've had so many rig parts in my various online shopping carts for the past 6 months, from lift kits, to bumpers and tires...
Another story about lights;
Once summer, while camping in the middle of nowhere in upstate NY. My friend and I, were staring at the night sky after a few after dinner cold ones. It was a new moon, and the middle of nowhere so all the stars were out. We could even see the Milky Way without the...
I'd be down for a little trip. I'm currently on Long Island, so traveling upstate NY is easy for me. (after I make it past NYC at least) I've been looking for places to go up there but don't even know where to start. If you want to meet up for a trip definitely let me know! I need a good trail...
It's funny that you mention Mt. Beacon, because when I bought my FJ, the guy I bought it from took me offroad up the mountain as sort of a "test-drive" to show me what it was capable of. I've been looking into going back as it only about an hour or so from where I am, but the legality of driving...
My buddy and I just started a podcast about the "unnatural and unexplained" stuff. We plan to record our first episode this weekend, I'll definitely mention a few of the things I've read on this thread. We're both into camping and overlanding too, so maybe we'll throw some of that in there...
Hey overlanders,
I live on Long Island, NY. Not a great place to be if you're into offroading and overlanding I've found. Sure there's Rousch Creek in PA, but that's a 5 hour drive from me. My 2010 FJ Trail Teams and I are itching to break the mall crawler status and seriously get the tires...
I have two, one for my everyday stuff, and one for my small business. Go follow both! I'll be sure to follow back!

Hey all! I'm a newbie here, member #8397 checking in!
I reside on Long Island, New York, we've got some pretty awesome pizza and bagels around here (just sayin')
I have a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams, that I'm slowly turning into an overland-capable vehicle. I go camping a few times a...
