I carry 2 bottle jacks.. a 2 ton and a 6 ton. I also carry some wood blocks for cribbing. I put together a couple top adapters to cradle the rear axle tube also.
In my experience they aren't good in mud. I've had several sets of them over the years, and that is their major downfall. The lugs are just too close to clean mud.

I see that dash mats with pockets are a common thing in Australia, or sometimes in the US with 80 Series Cruisers. Anyone know of a company that makes them for other vehicles? I'm wheeling a Ram 1500 2 door.. would love a place to throw extra items.

I drive a 2 door Ram 1500 4x4. Lifted 2in front and rear and running BFG KO/2 stock size.
Haven’t done any “overlanding” exactly, but been wheeling off-road for many years.
